I quite enjoyed it. They have a nice selection of fish, and extras, and the combo meals sound like good value for money.
At time of writing we're in the midst of COVID-19, and I was impressed with the way they've spaced out the store.
One downside is that they didn't have potato scallops, or sea scallops and I thought those were common in chip shops, but I loved the calamari, cod and spring rolls we got anyway. The major downside is that they sell fresh fish in the same building and whilst it was good to see all that fresh fish available, I've never liked the smell, so that's a downside, but more importantly, the "takeaway" section felt a touch cramped because it had to share space.
Also, whilst I enjoyed the fish, and I think it was above average, the chips were pretty mediocre, so it was nothing to write home about.

Hands down best quality fish in Queensland, let alone Brisbane. It is a little pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for with fast service and beautifully textured, tasty fish. The thing I love most about this place though is surprisingly the burgers. My mates and myself all get chicken burgers when we go because for $10 it is unbeatable. A gentleman remarked whilst walking by on how at a fish shop it was strange we were eating burgers, and so we couldn’t but down an opportunity to convince him to try one. He too, saw how remarkably one of the best fish shops in brisbane simultaneously sold some amazing value chicken and beef burgers.

Fantastic fresh seafood outlet with ridiculously big range of top quality products. We ate at the on site cafe and it was high quality and very good value for money. It makes me sad that living in a harbour town that I don't have access to half of this range.

I was really impressed with the variety of fish and seafood for sale.
I also liked the cafe bistro which is open until 10pm everyday.
My fish and king prawns were of the highest quality and freshness, and my sister enjoyed the meal I cooked. I highly recommend the Fish Factory.

Very good range of seafood, always fresh and diverse. Come early in the morning if you want something special and finger-leaking. Different kinds of oysters, fish, fresh scallops. Some additional stuff for sushi making, sources & marinades. There's also a café on the spot where you can try crispy fish & chips.

This place is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. I went just before Christmas and it was super busy (the lines were out of the door) and there was heaps of stock still. The staff even went around and gave out water and fried fish snacks while we waited

The best, I got some Tuna and prawns to take home and I had Mackerel chips and salad with a bottle of water for around $20
Good value I think ,also great customer service from both areas of the shop.
Great advice as always and the best selection of fish for miles around, fillets, whole fish, plus all the condiments in the fridge you could wish for.
It's refreshing to find people who work in the business who are passionate and knowledgeable about the product,right down to why you should grill,fry or bbq certain fish or shellfish.
It's also good that you never feel rushed.
Definitely worth a visit.
I go here over any other fish retailer.

Once you get past the fishy aroma the food here is brilliant. Best seafood platter we've had and a lovely glass of bubbly to go with it! The fresh fish display is pretty spectacular.

One of not many businesses with very high standards. The best and fresh fish we are buying from them for a while. Great service, good product, very reasonably priced. Now it is not only our favourite fish market , but favourite place for a good lunch too. Well done guys.

After checking out 4 other fresh seafood venues this is the only one I would recommend to anyone. Prices are a bit more than others but quality is excellent. I was looking for quality seafood for wife's birthday seafood platter and visited several places. This was the only one I wanted to come back to.

Very good seafood with big portion
The staff offers excellent service and takes our order carefully
The oysters are not very big but very fresh
The Japanese sauce is amazing
The mussels come with Turkish bread
The sauce is so yummy that we finished all without hesitation

Huge selection of fresh seafood. I have purchased fresh and cooked seafood from here many times and have never had any problems. The new dining area since they moved buildings is now a lot more pleasant if you want to dine in.

I decided to make the drive after seeing their Instagram page and I bought a box of soft shell crabs and a bag of frozen oysters. I love the fact they stock a wide range of seafood. Very reasonably priced too!

where do I even start. one of the best fish markets I have found in Brisbane. when you walk in it smells like fresh fish. they have a takeaway as well which makes amazing fish and chips. yes it's a little more expensive than your local but it is worth every penny. I have never bought fish from here and been disappointed. if you havent tried them you absolutely need to. cannot recommend enough. 11/10.

Their new location is well set up. Generally speaking, food quality is really good. Many level of prices for all wallet. Fresh fish is great. Kitchen is clean when we have a look from the dinning room.

Brilliant selection, excellent informed staff, fresh as can be, there's nothing like this for miles around, they also have a fish and chip shop which i haven't tried but i definitely will.
This time i got Scorpion fish and Tuna too, both sensational quality and super fresh , if you haven't been you must go and have a look.

We hadn't been there before, it was a bit unknown at first, we were shown a table & left to our own devices. We were unsure if there was table service, had to get our own menus etc until we had a waitress finally arrive....drinks happened, orders taken and the "unknown" disappeared.
The food was fantastic, the beer & wine was quite reasonably priced and both were very tasty.
Fresh seafood was very obvious and the presentation and service was now good.
It was obviously busy & there was quite a bit of noise in the room but it was happy noise!!

The new location is a huge improvement over the old spot, but the service is still good and the quality is excellent. I haven't eaten from the restaurant, but the market is my sole provider of seafood. Prices are pretty typical, but the selection and quality are well above average.

Newly renovated with lovely restaurant, sea food is by far the freshest we have found anywhere in Brisbane, had the Calamari today and it was the only authentic Calamari I've had in Australia, just like you would get in Spain... superb!

Fantastic range of ultra fresh seafood. Been customer for many, many years, and never been disappointed. We are lovers of BBC whole fish, their selection is great, from fish for two to very large. Fab service, no waiting to be served, happy friendly staff. Carry a great frozen range of variety of seafood and other foods, also a wide deli range. I was able to buy "bottarga" (smoked mullet roe), divine grated on fresh spaghetti! You cant leave empty handed from this long established business.

Been a regular for some time now but noticed the quality hasn't been up to par the last few times. Generally pretty good but a bit hit and miss lately. I do travel for these guys so hope they can produce seafood as good as their new factory looks.

Still the best source of quality seafood. Joined the midnight rush on Christmas Eve to ensure we had fresh oysters for lunch. The quality of Tasmanian Pacific Oysters was voted as the tastiest, creamiest, most succulent we have enjoyed this year. All seafood was perfect as usual. The staff and management deserve a big thanks for the orderly way customers were admitted to the Factory, the wait was minimal considering the number shopping. Everyone was friendly in the que which made for a pleasant Christmas experience. Thank you Fish Factory we can't wait to return and try the new bistro, looks great.

Expect a wait! Bring water & sun screen! Tiger prawns were gone by the time I got in & I was there shortly after 7 am. But what can you expect at this time of year? Just keep smiling and talk to the people in line, you'll be surprised how many lovely people you meet!
The prawns I got look lovely. Looking forward to enjoying them tomorrow.

Huge Collections of seafood. Good variety of cooked and fresh seafood. All the staffs are knowledgeable and friendly. Parking a car isn't problem there because they have huge space for parking.

The best fresh seafood in Brisbane. Easily the best service experience too as regardless the crowds (at X-Mas), the lines move and staff are very helpful + efficient. Seafood prices are higher than you see at supermarkets as you'd expect, but the far superior quality is well worth it!! Their whole rainbow trout for $14.90 is a great, healthy meal for 2 & their large tiger prawns could almost be mistaken for lobster they're that big & meaty!
